Apprenticeship Careers Australia (ACA) is Australia’s leading employer of apprentices and trainees for the healthcare, infrastructure, business and trade sectors. 

They have successfully placed thousands of apprentices and trainees with host businesses since their establishment in 2011, providing a time saving, cost effective and risk-free hiring solution. 

We are excited to work in partnership with Apprenticeship Careers Australia (ACA) to promote genuine employment and training opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders people across Australia. The partnership between Yilabara and Apprenticeship Careers Australia enabled important initiatives like the NSW More Jobs More Care project to be successfully delivered across our NSW Aboriginal Communities.  Yilabara Solutions and Apprenticeship Careers Australia share a genuine commitment to Closing the Gap and will continue to explore new projects together.  

For more than 195 years, Business Australia has supported thousands of Australian businesses. With over 70,000 members from sole traders to enterprises, Business Australia has joined forces with Yilabara Solutions to address Aboriginal Employment across Australia. Business Australia and their members are committed to advancing Aboriginal employment and have commenced working with Yilabara in developing an approach that brings industry and Aboriginal Communities together. 

Evolve Housing is an award-winning, Tier-1 nationally registered community housing provider. They are recognised as one of the most innovative, high performing CHPs in Australia. They provide housing solutions to eligible people on very low to moderate incomes who are unable to access appropriate housing in the private market. This includes social and affordable housing. Evolve also have a presence in Tasmania through their membership of Centacare Evolve Housing, and they manage key worker housing in Victoria.

Flourish Australia is one of Australia’s largest and most experienced specialist community mental health support services. Founded in Sydney in 1955, each year Flourish Australia provides social and emotional wellbeing, psychosocial and clinical supports to close to 10,000 people with lived experience of mental health issues in 72 sites in NSW, Queensland, the ACT, Victoria, and South Australia. Flourish is a large NDIS Service Provider supporting around 2000 NDIS participants with psychosocial disability. The partnership between Yilabara and Flourish Australia in the More Jobs More Care Program has supported the development of NDIS resources and capacity building activities to support Aboriginal organisations in Western NSW. Our partnership is also looking at employment opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. We are committed to working and learning together, sharing our commitment to Closing the Gap, and exploring more opportunities to support Aboriginal communities.

Programmed is a leading provider of operations and maintenance services across all industry sectors including education, health, infrastructure, manufacturing, transport and mining in Australia and New Zealand. They are one of Australia’s largest employers with more than 25,000 employees. They have more than 1000 trainees and apprentices and they know how to take young adults and make them into supervisors, leaders, and great contributors to their communities. Programmed enables their people to gain a diverse range of task skills and industry experience to give them job and financial independence as industries and business evolve and change. Yilabara is working with Programmed on their overall commitment to social impact and we are genuinely excited about future projects in design to better support Aboriginal employment across Australia.

TAFE NSW has a long and proud history of supporting the self- determination that changes lives for Aboriginal People and Torres strait Islander peoples, and Aboriginal communities across NSW. As the largest provider of vocational education and training for Aboriginal peoples across the nation, TAFE NSW has formally partnered with Yilabara Solutions to challenge the issue of Aboriginal employment across NSW. Yilabara Solutions will offer an employment pipeline for TAFE NSW students and be a partner to TAFE NSW in pre-employment programs.
